So, I finally broke down and called my mother in-law to help me out. Apparently you have to be a New Yorker to get through at that place! I have my first appointment on August 21st. I will be 14 wks by then!
About the insurance...it actually is a pretty good price because I have no deductible. I just pay a $25 co-pay and $200 for the delivery. But, I still wish I had more choices.
When my mother in-law called she asked about the doctor. They said he is awesome and that he is the head of the department, so I guess that's good. I just want to be able to have the option to switch if I don't like him.
Anyway, hopefully later today I can find my camera and finally put my pictures on here...

I understand your frustration! I was 11-12 weeks pregnant before I got to see a doctor. I kept yelling at people saying, "don't you know how important early pre-natal care is!?" Oh the joys of pregnancy...
